Healthy Eating on a Budget Programme
Our Healthy Eating on a Budget Programme centres nutrition at the heart, which is much needed and often overlooked in essential meal provision services. The programme aims to empower people experiencing food insecurity to independently access their nutritional needs, make informed dietary choices and improve dietary behaviours, on a budget.
Content has been developed by trained dietitians and registered nutritionists and influenced by participant feedback. Sessions are delivered by nutritional experts and FEAST chefs who work in collaboration with community partners and site staff to recruit and retain participants, supporting participants to have the best experience and greatest outcomes.
Read the brochure for more information about the structure, content and costs of the programme.
Read the impact report from the pilot of the programme to learn about the impact the programme has on invidiuals experiencing food insecurity and our community.
